Earthlings: documentary written, directed, and produced by the environmentalist Shaun Monson. It shows how far humanity has come regarding animal exploitation, with very striking images. It is narrated by the vegan actor and activist Joaquin Phoenix!
Cowspiracy: focuses on more of the environmental domain and the ecological impact of agriculture, using various data and current information. It is directed by Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn and produced by Leonardo Di Caprio!
Dominion: It questions the human relationship with animals and human’s forms of domination and superiority. The documentary is Australian, released in 2018. It is produced by Shaun Monson.
Glass Walls: narrated by Paul McCartney, it has popularized the phrase “If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian”. The 2009 documentary denounces the cruelty and suffering caused to animals, in order to meet the demands of the food industry.
Speciesism: released by Mark Devries in 2013, the documentary explains the concept of Speciesism as all forms of species-based exclusion, when other beings are deprived of being part of a moral community.
The End of Meat: shows the changes the world has been experiencing in regards to veganism and meat consumption reduction as well as the human-animal relationship. It is directed and produced by Marc Pierschel, who also directed the documentary “Live and Let Live,” in 2013.
