Be vegan is expensive?

Many people claim not to become vegan because they believe it is too expensive. But, have you ever really stopped to research which vegan products are expensive? A diet based on grains, vegetables, legumes, fruits, herbs… It is nothing more than an omnivore’s food without meat. You only include more variety of preparation methods – you will probably explore more spices and discover new textures. What can be more expensive, in terms of food, are the sausages, hams; industrialized kinds of milk and derivatives: cheeses, milk, ice cream; and other items that do not necessarily need to be part of your daily life. They are products that add flavor, many times, but most of the time you can produce yourself at home in an affordable way, making your own milk, tofu, cheese, fruit-based ice cream, for example.

In this post we will present some meals and desserts to inspire you, that are easy and accessible. Here we go? Veganism can be easier than you think!

Remembering that being vegan is not just a diet. It also extends to hygiene products, makeup, clothes, and anything you use that should not come from animal cruelty, options that are becoming more accessible and varied on the market every day. Veganism is an ideological and conscious act!
